AIRTO is pleased to confirm with immediate effect that Dr Marilyn Comrie OBE, Chief Executive Officer of MIAH (the Manchester Innovation Activities Hub), has been appointed to the Board as a Member Director of AIRTO.

Marilyn is an award-winning serial entrepreneur, green tech innovator and chemistry graduate. She is the CEO of the Manchester Innovation Activities Hub (MIAH) – a net zero industrialisation and electrification skills training facility within Manchester Science Park. MIAH provides industrial grade fabrication equipment to support innovative SMEs to prototype new low carbon products and services to tackle climate change, and delivers workforce development for the manufacturing, transport and energy sectors through rapid upskilling, reskilling and new skilling.  MIAH supports the entire innovation chain from research, development and demonstration to commercialization and deployment, and delivers emerging skills training in electrification, batteries, automation, robotics, metrology and hydrogen skills training.
