In early 2018, UKRI began a programme of mapping the UK’s research and innovation infrastructure, to identify gaps and opportunities for the UK to stay competitive over the coming years. This is the first national roadmap of this kind looking at infrastructure for research and innovation will help government to inform decisions about investment as it pushes towards implementation of its Industrial Strategy. AIRTO was pleased to be part of the Advisory Board for this initiative, and many of AIRTO’s members provided data about their facilities, which are now part of a catalogue of hundreds infrastructures in a portal online.
