AIRTO is pleased to confirm new member appointment to its Board

AIRTO is pleased to confirm the appointment of The Oil & Gas Technology Centre’s Nicola McIntosh as a member director to its Board with immediate effect.

Dr Paul Howarth FREng, Chair of AIRTO, said: “Nicola will bring a broad range of skills and expertise to AIRTO and I am delighted that she has agreed to join the team.”

Nicola  is the Finance and Commercial Director at The Oil & Gas Technology Centre, joining in December 2016 when the Centre was established.  She is responsible for all areas of Business Integration and Support and has been instrumental in driving the organisation’s key mission; to maximise the potential from the UK oil and gas industry, anchor the supply chain in the North East of Scotland and create a strong culture of innovation.

Nicola has over 20 years’ experience working in finance and commercial roles, including Maersk Oil where she held a range of senior management positions including Chief of Staff for the COO.  She is also passionate about corporate responsibility, supporting a range of STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) engagement with schools, alongside diversity in the work place initiatives through the Powerful Women network.

Nicola holds a degree in Business Studies and is a qualified Management Accountant.
