HORIBA MIRA, University of York, TRL and Five were commissioned to develop a set of guidelines for low-speed automated pod commercial deployment for the UK Government’s Centre for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CCAV). The aim of the guidelines is to provide a technical reference for possible future regulations surrounding the safety assurance of low-speed automated pods on UK roads.
The associated report gives recommendations for a future safety and security assurance framework for low-speed automated vehicles (LSAVs).
