Rebecca Mackenzie changed careers to be in Health and Safety in late 2019, where she had a very steep learning curve during the Covid-19 pandemic. Following this, she undertook her NVQ in Occupational Health and Safety and has been building on her experience ever since.

Rebecca has particular interests in investigating what lessons can be learnt from incidents, championing health and wellbeing (including EDI) as well as pride in herself on having an approachable method to her colleagues for concerns, without judgement.

Rebecca used to work in ICT for 15 years before moving to health and safety, which proves beneficial with compilation of H&S data and communications. She believes communication is of paramount importance for the company, to bolster a good health and safety culture.
