Chris Bridge is the Senior Data Governance Analyst at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL), where she leads on operational data protection.

Since joining NPL in 2023, Chris has been instrumental—alongside a colleague—in transforming how data is secured and managed across the organisation. With a career spanning multiple industries, Chris brings deep expertise in bridging the gap between technology and business. She has a particular interest in the evolving role of artificial intelligence and the importance of responsible data use in its development.

Chris lives in South West London with her husband Jack and their daughter Daisy. She’s often seen commuting on her distinctive pink Brompton bike.
