AIRTO – the Association of Innovation, Research & Technology Organisations – is delighted to announce the appointment to its Board of Dr Caroline Pritchard, Director of Key Accounts and Government Relations at LGC.
Caroline brings a wealth of experience and a strategic understanding of the UK’s research and innovation, and public sector landscape.

Caroline leads on government engagement for LGC’s national laboratory roles of the National Measurement Laboratory (NML), Government Chemist (GC) and MHRA Official Medicines Control Laboratory for chemical testing. She actively represents these national roles with policy makers, healthcare leaders, funders and other stakeholders within the UK and across the wider European measurement community to strategically position delivery and impact of these roles for relevant government priorities.
Sitting across the public and private sector, Caroline brings a unique perspective on the wider research, development and innovation ecosystem. Her work brings together parties from across the diversity of the landscape to address common chemical and biological measurement science {metrology] challenges locally, nationally and internationally, for wider UK benefit.
