AIRTO member HORIBA MIRA is proud to celebrate 25 years since the opening of its Environmental Development Centre at Quatro Park, Basildon, a specialist facility supporting customers across the automotive, defence and aerospace sectors with advanced environmental testing services.
Since opening in 2000, the site has played a key role in helping customers bring robust, reliable and high-performance technologies to market. From early endurance and durability testing through to today’s high-voltage battery and electrification programmes, the centre has continually evolved to meet the changing needs of global mobility.
Today, Quatro Park provides environmental stress testing across a wide range of conditions – from vibration, thermal shock and climatic cycling, to corrosion, ingress protection and battery abuse testing. Its capabilities are underpinned by a highly experienced team of engineers, technicians and subject matter experts.
