AIRTO member MTC hosted its fourth annual Robotics & Automation (R&A) conference in June, welcoming nearly 400 delegates and over 40 exhibitors to its cutting-edge facility in Coventry. The event brought together leaders from across the manufacturing and technology sectors to spotlight the transformative role of robotics and automation in the UK’s industrial future.
The two-day event focused on accelerating robot adoption and exploring adjacent technologies shaping the future of UK manufacturing. With more than 40 expert speakers and panellists, the conference underscored the critical role of automation in boosting productivity and competitiveness.
The success of Robotics & Automation 2025 coincides with the announcement that Birmingham has been selected to host the European Robotics Forum (ERF) in 2027, following a proposal by MTC in partnership with the University of Birmingham, and the Birmingham and West Midlands Convention Bureau.
