United Kingdom National Nuclear Laboratory (UKNNL) and the charity Become will be working together to support care-experienced young people in accessing exciting career opportunities.
Through its Propel programme, Become provides vulnerable young people with the vital support they need to access work or education. One young person they supported had never been employed before and felt overwhelmed by applications and interviews. Through one-to-one support, they built confidence, improved their CV, practiced interview skills, and successfully secured their first job as a Veterinary Care Assistant.
Together, UKNNL and Become will highlight career opportunities in the nuclear industry and give similar support for young people to access them.
