Julianne Antrobus has officially begun her tenure as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AIRTO member United Kingdom National Nuclear Laboratory (UKNNL) on Tuesday 1 April 2025.
Julianne, whose appointment was first announced in October 2024, brings extensive experience from across the nuclear sector to the role. She joins UKNNL from PA Consulting, where she served as Global Head of Nuclear and UK Energy and Utilities lead, establishing and growing an innovative nuclear consulting practice with global reach.
Over the last few weeks Julianne has been preparing to take the reins alongside outgoing CEO Paul Howarth, who has led the organisation through a period of significant growth and transformation over the last 14 years. Julianne has already visited all UKNNL sites across the country, engaging with teams and gaining first-hand experience of the organisation’s capabilities and projects so she is ready to succeed from day one.
