Innovate UK recently announced the winners of the Women in Innovation Awards 2025. These trailblazing entrepreneurs are tackling critical social, environmental and economic challenges, creating a robust pipeline of women-led businesses for future investment.
Winners span the length and breadth of the UK and cover a wide range of sectors including digital health, legal tech, sustainable fashion, renewable energy and more.
Some of the challenges this cohort are tackling include:
- Transforming early-stage cancer detection
- Responsive glass coatings that regulate temperatures without electricity
- Developing medical devices to improve childbirth safety
- Revolutionising financial transactions for the visually impaired
- Developing the world’s first B2B food matchmaking platform
Each winner receives a £75,000 grant, personalised business coaching, and access to networking, role modelling and training opportunities.
