AIRTO member UKNNL were honoured to host Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and Energy Secretary Ed Miliband at their Preston facility, and were pleased to hear that more nuclear power plants will be approved across England and Wales.
As the Government’s lead civil national laboratory for nuclear fission, UKNNL are well-placed and ready to deliver nuclear outcomes that benefit the whole of our society, helping to achieve our mission of making the UK a clean energy superpower.
It was a fantastic opportunity for UKNNL, from their world-leading scientists to their apprentices embarking on their careers, to discuss with the Prime Minister and Energy Secretary how UKNNL is leading the way in new nuclear technology.
