AIRTO member City St George’s, University of London is set to bring together creative thinkers from research and practice with the launch of the Institute for Creativity and AI (ICAI), an outward facing space for collaboration and problem-solving at the intersection of creative work and artificial intelligence (AI).
The interdisciplinary institute will work closely with funding bodies and businesses, possessing a broad outlook across different sectors including business management, healthcare, journalism and the arts. It will serve as a place to discuss key challenges that face tech-oriented creative work, and drive research-led solutions to overcome these tests. At the same time, practitioners and researchers can exchange ideas to seek strategically beneficial partnerships and funding opportunities.
The Institute has already forged agreements for collaboration with a number of prestigious international centres, including the Centre for Digital Creativity at Aarhus University in Denmark, and the Institute for Technology and Innovation Management at RWTH-Aachen in Germany.
