AIRTO member TWI has become a strategic partner of Make UK Defence. The agreement was finalised at the Farnborough International Airshow and follows TWI having been a member of Make UK Defence for a number of years previously.
Make UK Defence is a national not-for-profit, member owned defence trade association that champions and supports defence industry manufacturers and supply chain members to build an innovative, forward looking, and internationally competitive UK defence supply chain.
This partnership builds upon TWI’s decades of experience within the defence industry, where they provide expertise and support with additive manufacturing, welding and joining, composites joining, ceramics, surface engineering, mechanical fastening and more.
By coming together with Make UK Defence, TWI are helping unite the best of the UK’s supply chain and manufacturing community going forwards, while looking to contribute thoroughly to Make UK’s mission of championing and supporting the UK’s innovative and diverse defence manufacturers and the wider defence supply chain.
