At Budget 2021 the government announced a review of R&D Tax Reliefs, supported by a consultation with stakeholders. This consultation is exploring the nature of private-sector R&D investment in the UK, how that is supported or otherwise influenced by the R&D Relief schemes, and where changes may be appropriate. Having consulted with our members,  AIRTO has recognised the benefit of these schemes and identified opportunities for their improvement which are contained in our response on behalf of the Innovation, Research & Technology sector.
