The AIDC Centre is an independent, not-for-profit organisation that offers highly professional and impartial advice on the social and business benefits of technology to small and medium sized businesses and the public sector. The Centre was established in 2007 following Yorkshire Forward and EU funding to establish Europe's leading showcase for technologies that drive business improvement and process efficiency.

The Centre's highly skilled team offers consultation and advice to businesses on how best to improve new and existing processes, achieve operational efficiencies and reduce costs through the use of new technology. We work closely with businesses to ensure that our consultation expertise is backed up by practical real-world capability, and are experienced in helping them plan and achieve key business objectives.

The Centre is currently located in the state-of-the-art Digital Media Centre, in Barnsley, South Yorkshire and is working closely with South Yorkshire's Digital Region initiative. We are an accredited Business Link supplier for the Innovation Voucher Scheme and an approved supplier on the Yorkshire and Humber Suppliers Register.
