The Construction Industry Research and Information Association (CIRIA) is a not-for-profit member-based organisation. We work collaboratively to be the leading provider of knowledge aimed at improving performance in the built environment and construction sectors.
CIRIA engages with government bodies, regulators, policy groups, professional institutes, universities, clients, contractors, consulting companies and suppliers. This collaboration provides our members with a unique insight into emerging developments and helps address industry wide issues. CIRIA’s independent and authoritative guidance also highlights good practice and helps businesses to embed innovative approaches into their operational processes.
Our members lead the industry in raising professional standards through sharing knowledge and promoting good practice. Together with other sector leaders on CIRIA’s advisory panels they support industry collaboration in identifying issues and their solutions. Members also provide thought leadership contributions to CIRIA’s news, blogs and Knowledge Hub.
Becoming a CIRIA member enables all employees to have early and exclusive access to our leading industry research and events. They also get free access to all CIRIA publications on-line via IHS as well as a free hard copy of new CIRIA publications and discounts on further purchases. Our training courses cover a wide range of industry topics and we also deliver in-house training.
